Mazda CX-30 and Mazda3 Are Two Of The Three Finalists For World Car Of The Year
The World Car Awards announced their 2020 top three finalist vehicles for "World Car of the Year." We are pleased to share that the Mazda CX-30 and Mazda3 are two of the top three vehicles! The winner will be announced on April 8th at the New York International Auto Show. The Mazda3 is also a top finalist in the "World Car Design of the Year" category.
This announcement comes on the heels of a number of accolades we've already received this season.
- Mazda received the most Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) "Top Safety Pick+" awards than any other automaker, including the 2020 Mazda3 Hatchback and Sedan, Mazda6, CX-3 and CX-5. The 2020 CX-9 earns an additional Top Safety Pick when equipped with specific headlights.
- Consumer Reports ranked Mazda as the 4th overall brand which makes the best cars, up two spots from 2019, and is also the brand with the highest reliability. Every model in the Mazda lineup is recommended by Consumer Reports this year.
- 2020 Mazda3 earns five stars in overall crashworthiness rating from the U.S. government's National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) tests - the most a vehicle can earn.
